I’m currently an English Literature student at the University of Birmingham. My interest in film largely stems from my father, who has screened and recommended films for me throughout my life (often heavily debating them with me too!)

Taking a film pathway in my studies has allowed me to explore film through a critical lens, which I combine with my personal reflections on my life, and the wider world.

For me, art is an incredibly valuable tool for understanding oneself – from film, short stories, poetry, or anything in between, I aim to delve deep into what we may learn from media, and what we may learn about ourselves in reflection.
